This SPECIAL "Non-Virgin Islands CATAMARAN" sailing trip has been carefully assembled to provide its guests with a relaxed schedule including spectacular opportunities to explore, hike, and observe the most unspoiled destinations in the Caribbean.
Saturday Arrival
Arrival at the Guadeloupe airport, taxi to the marina, and board the Catamaran Sailboat after 6PM.The chosen Catamaran will be your home for the week.Couples will enjoy a private berth.The vessel will be equipped with multiple bathrooms, showers, kitchen facilities and lots of lounging room throughout.These boats are made for relaxing and spreading out.
Sunday Day 1
Explore Guadeloupe individually or as a group.Guadeloupe is known as the “Island of Pretty Waters”.The western half is typically volcanic with steep mountains covered in tropical rainforest.Superb for remote rainforest hiking, waterfalls (up to 350 feet), and natural pools.
Monday Day 2
Relax and enjoy a 3-4 hour sail to Marie Galante arriving around 1PM.This is a thickly wooded green island with a palm tree laden coast, a quiet unspoiled haven.It’s an ideal place to wind down, eat good Creole meals and take a quiet walk on a your own chunk of perfect Caribbean beach.
Tuesday Day 3
Relax and enjoy a 6-7 hour sail to Dominca.Arriving in Dominica by sail is an experience in itself as we confront the unique local culture.Or it confronts us.Once settled, we’ll make plans for a full Wednesday of island exploration.
Wednesday Day 4
Dominica is the highlight attraction of this Eco-Trip.It is the most mountainous and rugged island offering hikers unequaled scenery of great dramatic beauty.They say if Columbus were to come back today, Dominica is the only island he would recognize.The unspoiled country is the most exciting destination for spectacular natural beauty.The valleys, gorges, and pinnacles, and rainforests that make up its topography is solid with amazingly lush vegetation.Greenery erupts everywhere, thrusting upwards, curling, stretching, climbing, and falling.The whole land is covered in verdant tangle of trees, vines, shrubs, and ferns.Add to this a plethora of birds, butterflies, and brightly colored flowers, and you can begin to imagine its almost magical nature.Then there’s the boiling lake, hot waterfalls, sulfur springs and crater lakes.
Thursday Day 5
Relax and sail 5-6 hours to The Saintes arriving by 2PM.Explore the quant little community or explore the beach.The Saints is a tiny irresistible group of islands that is picture perfect.We’ll anchor off of Bourg des Saintes.This is an adorable seaside town, sparkling clean and picturesque.Flowers grow in abundance around the houses and no one is in a hurry.
Friday Day 6
Relax and sail about 4-hours to Guadeloupe arriving by noon.Consider a zip lining experience in the afternoon or take time doing whatever you feel like.
Saturday Day 7
Off to the airport and back to reality.Guests must be off boat by 11AM.
