Neil VanGundy, owner of YOLO, LLC, is a native Iowan. Even from the heart of the Midwest, Neil started sailing at the age of 14. Neil continued sailing while living in San Diego throughout the 80's.
His father James introduced Neil to the Virgin Islands in 1985 and he's been hooked on the Caribbean ever since. James always used to say, "Neil, You Only Live Once, enjoy it while you can". So in March of 2000, Neil took a 10-year sabbatical from his professional career to make YOLO a reality.
Neil logged over 10,000 miles in the Caribbean and North Atlantic since January of 2008 alone. His trips have built an outstanding reputation for planning sailing vacations for groups, couples, and individuals from all over the U.S. and Canada. His knowledge of the Virgin Islands and Midwestern roots has made him uniquely qualified for packaging trip after trip of satisfied vacation lovers. The goal "The Best Vacation of Your Life".
